Kensuke Oishi

Kensuke "Ken" Oishi is an experienced speech language pathologist with a passion for diagnostic testing. Drawing on his extensive knowledge and experience, he supervises, performs and interprets swallow studies and laryngeal video examinations in various settings for SoCal Speech Therapy & Swallowing Diagnostics.

Drawing on his experience working with patients with dysphagia and voice disorders, he also treats patients experiencing the side effects from radiation for treatment of head and neck cancer. He is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and a member of the Dysphagia Research Society. He's been a board-certified clinical specialist of swallowing and swallowing disorders since 2011.

A native of Tokyo, Ken enjoys living by the beach in Los Angeles and being outdoors. He speaks English and Japanese fluently, and has a passion for teaching the next generation of therapists.
